ASSUMPTION  DAY  GATHERING(Aug 19^th ,2012)

 

PURPOSE:  A  Catholic  family  for Burmese  Catholic  Community  (DC  Area)  for  Assumption  Day  which  was  happened  to  be  on  Aug 16^th ,2012.

SUMMARY:  The  event  was  held  on  August  19^th,  2012  at  Old  Emmitsburg,  Maryland  which  was begun  with  a  Sunday  mass  in  the  chapel  at  Mt  St  Mary’s Catholic University, Maryland.  The  mass  was  started  at  10am  with  participants  of  approximately  twenty  people  from  Burmese  Catholic  Community  (DC  Area).  A luncheon followed after the mass.  The  event  was  supposed  to  end  with  rosary  saying  at  Mary’s  Shrine  but  had  to  cancelled  because   of  the  weather  condition.  After  lunch,  all  the  participants  gathered  at  a  house  to continue  the  event  gathering.  The event was ended around 5 pm in the evening.
