Daw Emily opened the meeting with opening prayer.

NCBAC celebration

Jean Aung reported that MCA (DC area) has already made the payment of $1500.00 to NCBAC. We collected $1670.00 so far. The balance of $170.00 will be added to MCA (DC area) fund. Volunteers are needed to prepare for the celebration in PA. Table will be available to anyone who would like to sell stuff (anything) at the gathering. One table will cost $ 50 payable to NCBAC.

Aung Aung shared information of NCBAC celebration’s program. Music, plays, any entertainment will need to contact Nein Chan (PA). Head counts from DC area need to report to Francis. He stated that we need to be ready for the question to hosting to celebrate here in 2015.

Assumption Day

Everyone discussed to celebrate Assumption day on August19 at Emmisburg joining afternoon mass there. Everyone agreed to bring light food (Pot luck). Mass time will be confirmed by Mary, please check your email.

Organization update

Joseph Thang brought up to create a committee for information to create communicating among the members. Everyone agreed with Michael MuMung, Peter Pau, and Christine Barelli in the committee.

After everyone discuss in generally the meeting is over and closing prayer by U Joseph. Joseph Thang added that MCA (DC area) has two majors’ celebrations which Christmas and Community gathering in May (after Asian Pacific Catholic celebration by USCCB).

·         Anyone who would like to participate in solo, group song, plays. Please contact U Joseph to (240) 750-7447 ASAP. (He will contact Nein Chan(PA))

·         Anyone who wants to volunteer your time please contact Michael MuMung (443)248-9489 if you live in Baltimore and contact Jean Aung(240)483-2230 if you live in Rockville Area (Jean Aung will contact Michael for the volunteer).

·         Anthony Aung (240)400-2623 will report head count from Baltimore area and Jean Aung will report total headcount to Francis (PA).

·         Anyone who need a ride or have extra seats please contact to Michael MuMung (443)248-9489 if you live in Baltimore area. Please contact Joseph Thang (240)498-4087 if you live in Rockville area. Unfortunately, due to budget situation we will not be able to provide the transportation as we discuss last meeting.

·         We will celebrate Assumption day on August19 at afternoon mass. There will be gathering after mass please bring light food for lunch (Pot Luck).

·         We will have to decide to host NCBAC annual celebration in 2015 by August19, 2012.

·         Elizabeth Lun (240)482-7024 will be handling our community budget temporally.
